Red Sox Woes

Tonight the Red Sox had two players leave the game due to injury.

Trot Nixon looks like he pulled rib muscles perhaps while swinging at a high fastball, and left the game in mid at-bat.

Then Matt Clement got hit in the face/head with a come backer through the box. He was stretched off the field with a neck brace. The only early report on his health is that he is conscious, and is in good spirits.

Roster wise, I think we'll see the best AAA hitter in baseball in Roberto Petagine, get the call likely putting Millar in RF regularly.

As for Clements slot, I assume he'll be DL'd which will likely result in Schilling being brought back to the rotation.
