My First Baseball Think Factory Article

Recently I had my first article posted on Baseball Think Factory about Earl Weaver's first season as manager of the Baltimore Orioles.

Fighting Harry Wolverton

A league average thirdbaseman over parts of nine seasons with 5 different clubs who accumulated over 3000 career at bats is listed as a left handed hitter. I recently found evidence in the July 29th, 1900 Washinton Post that he may in fact have been a switch hitter:

"Wolverton's "any-hand-batting" trick still works with perfection. The other day he switched twice. The first time he tried he poked out a hard line drive and the second time he shook Barrett up for three sacks."
